Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Mucyo Dusenge handles limited technical information when you use the mobile app, public website, or feedback form. Mucyo Dusenge is an independent app maintained by its developer and published on app stores by Elevate Technologies Limited (elevate.rw).

Information we handle

Mucyo Dusenge does not create end-user accounts and does not ask for your identity to read its content. If you allow notifications, Firebase gives the app an opaque delivery token. The service stores that token with a generic app/platform label and timestamps so it can deliver notifications; it is not connected to your name, email address, or an account. The app stores downloaded prayer content, notification history, and preferences locally on your device.

If you choose to submit feedback, we store the message and any optional name or email address you enter. Authorized administrators authenticate separately through Google OAuth, and the admin area uses a session cookie.

Our hosting and email providers also keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use the anonymous notification token only to deliver app notifications. We use feedback only to improve the service or reply when you voluntarily provide an email address. We do not sell personal information, run behavioral advertising, or add public-site analytics.

Service providers

Firebase and Firebase Cloud Messaging process device and delivery information needed to send notifications. Hosting and email providers may process information only as needed to operate the service and respond to you. These providers may process this information on servers outside Rwanda.

Retention

Anonymous notification tokens are kept while they remain active and useful for notification delivery. Feedback is kept only as long as needed to review it or respond. Local app data remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in your device settings. Because there are no end-user accounts and notification tokens are not linked to an identity, Mucyo Dusenge cannot look up a device registration by a person's name or email address. To have feedback you submitted deleted, email the address in the Contact section below.

Security and children

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. Mucyo Dusenge is a general-audience prayer resource and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
